I think one of the problems is that if you're always talking about yourself and just trying to find the next, better person who will listen to you it can also come off like you're not the kind of person who actually listens to or cares about what the other person is saying. There's a fine line between passionate and predator, lol.

Totally hear you. Just to clarify, I am not even pitching most of the time. People call me a hustler because they literally see me working: handling operations, team questions, client needs, right there in front of them. Because I have to. The truth is, I would love to be more present, take time for deeper conversations, and really listen. But right now I am still too caught in the day to day to make space for that. That is actually what I am trying to fix.
