Both @v and @dwr.eth unfollowed me today because of this. Great example of the leadership and transparency being praticed on Farcaster. Keep up the good work guys 👏

Degen incentives did make protocol stats go up though

A lot has changed in 4 months fwiw. Degen incentives are designed quite poorly and it was always gonna result in this behavior. With tip allos at a fraction of prev numbers, and continuing to shrink, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Opp for better initial and ongoing distribution mechanics

Unfollowing me, and then kicking me from group chats, this is not the way. Ive been here since Oct 2022 showing nothing but love and support until the spam was allowed to grow. This is the thanks I get?

Today tippers and who’s getting tipped are just bots who figured out how to game the system.

I’m pretty sure Dan followed me early on (he gave me an invite) but I noticed he unfollowed me at some point.

I can see how that may sting but this is all internet points anyway. Who cares?

Of course they are. But its shocking that the moment I push back against their opinions, im unfollowed. This is not leadership.

Aren’t they free to unfollow anyone? What’s the charge here?

I've also tried to voice my concerns about that farming stuff, especially by "influencers" that came from twitter only to play around maximize their profits and leave, when there's nothing left. I even have a cast from 3 months old that says literally "Degen might actually kill Farcaster"

Lol ofc. With farmers who become moral teachers lol. Dumpers who order peasants to hodl. It's really serious just for higher echelons

Well as disqualified person i'm totally agree. I can even name some bot accounts but out of nowhere i got fucked. Ngl money is important but seeing injustice in this level is another story
