i've been working *a lot* on regulating my nervous system for the past 8 weeks i was having several panic attacks a day + waking up a ton throughout the night + night sweats + unable to sleep in past 6:30 no matter what time i went to bed the past two days my body has finally let me sleep in (8:30 and 9!!), which means my cortisol is no longer spiking unnecessarily overnight and my parasympathetic nervous system is starting to retake dominance (rest and digest vs fight or flight mode) big signal that all my regulation work is finally working 🥳 ✨

I'm going through a pretty stressful time at the moment and have been waking up after 3 or 4 hours with my heart racing a lot the last couple of weeks. Almost the whole day I've felt nerves like I'm about to do public speaking.... but I only have a week of stress left and then I'm taking a break... so I relate to this a lot and appreciate you sharing. 42000 $HUNT

aw i'm glad it helped! try not to get stuck in the trap of "just one more week and then i can chill" - that is exactly what got me here!!
