When someone asks “What’s for dinner?”—I’m starting to think "Persian food!" should be a more frequent answer. Juicy saffron chicken with char, cucumber salad with bite, hummus that’s not just a side, and rice you’d eat on its own. Mint and lime on the plate, because details matter.

anytime any of my Persian friends invite me over for food my immediate answer is yes because omg it’s always amazing. And I always leave with a to go plate and get to enjoy it again!

Right???! It’s remarkable. Have been enjoying it since I was young a grew up with a Persian family down the block. We were frequently invited over for the most incredible food.
