My onions in the photo were *wayyyyy* too big. Don't make my mistake, and definitely dice smaller.

It took every fiber of my being to not put the meat on the heating surface, but rather on top of the onions. Typically it’s a rookie move to not maximize the Maillard reaction, but in this particular case it kinda works well. I guess — technically — it’s a steamed burger.
