Thinkin' about foods that taste *incredible* but look *awful*.

Case in point: this escargot. I mean… just look at it. Would you eat this???

And yet, absolute perfection. Rich, garlicky, herb-butter magic.

I know there are others. What’s your favorite “ugly but delicious” dish?

This might be another one: hamachi kama.

Doesn’t exactly win on looks… but I challenge you to find a grilled fish dish with more flavor and endless pickings.

It always seems to last forever—and somehow keeps getting better bite after bite.

I guess chicken feet can easily contend for top spot in the ugly but delicious category! But, seriously good.

True. This was a legit French place (focused on food from Nice and southern France in general), but my whole family said wow what a *horrible* food photo… That was the inspiration for the cast.
