RIP to the feeling of getting genuinely lost in a new city. Before smartphones, you stepped off a train with a paper map, followed bad directions, and stumbled onto places you never meant to find. Now, GPS reroutes you before you can make a mistake. Anyone else miss the thrill of wandering?

The bad directions piece is important. You were forced to interact with the locals and it wasn't weird to ask since everyone did it. Now if someone asks, you're like why didn't you just use GPS? Is this some kind of scam?
