my girlfriend and I have been reflecting:

if we could do anything at all in this moment, and live any kind of life, and we could really choose anything - we would be doing exactly what we're doing right now. 

The obvious part for me is being honest with what I want and aiming at it. I also think that the compliment to that is letting go and submerging fully to what life is serving me, and so naturally finding the satisfaction in it.

how would you describe what you’re doing right now?

two things I'm optimising for right now:

- learning as many new things as possible. I'm working on 4 projects simultaneously, all part time. this also means I never get bored.
- have at least half of my time as free/unplanned - my contracting gigs are all part-time, where I commit to a # of hours/month, but I get to choose the hours. this means I can follow my curiosity in the moment. this one thing makes me stay in flow 90%+ of my time and makes working a magnitude more enjoyable/addictive.
