People are quick to criticize and hesitant to praise

Just human nature but this is where incentives can tilt behaviors

I'll praise, appreciate how you are consistently of the even keel humans on this platform and I can tell you have a heart thats in the right place.

Evidence: youtube, twitter, insta, tipping, etc

when you do good, nobody appreciates you but the moment you do bad, everybody has something to say

Crypto only makes this worse, sadly. Hard to praise when every project has a p2p tradable asset associated with it. Need to have your head on a swivel to survive. 

Much easier to praise things without tokens.

So true rewards shape reactions more than we realize.
What kind of incentives do you think work best?
