I want to try making homemade Greek yogurt :) I've been researching different methods and appliances (Instant Pot, for example) Does anyone have any tips, recipes, or appliance recommendations? :)

A sous vide circulator is the perfect tool for this. You can dial in very precise temperatures and times. (Although yogurt is pretty forgiving anyways) 1) Fill a gallon bag or some large canning jars with milk. 2) Sous vide at 85C for at least an hour to pasteurize. 3) Turn it down to 35C, add 1/2 cup of something with live cultures. 4) Leave it in the water bath over night. 5) Strain it the next morning.

I’m making it regularly. Instant pot yogurt setting for 5-6 hrs. works perfect for me.

hello, you'll need: — 1 liter of 3.2 percent milk, — 150 ml of live yogurt with lactobacilli. step 1. pour the milk into a saucepan and place over medium heat. heat to 40 degrees celsius and remove from heat. step 2. add the yogurt to a small amount of warm milk and mix thoroughly. pour in the remaining milk, stir again. step 3. pour the prepared mixture into special containers or small jars. step 4. you can bring the yogurt to readiness in several ways: wrap it in a blanket or pour it into a thermos, leave for 6 hours. you can also use a slow cooker in "simmer" or "yogurt" mode. step 5. place the jars in the refrigerator until completely cooled.
