I keep hearing this theory that the housing crisis will sort itself out as Zoomers and Millennials inherit their parents houses... and I'm just not sure that's going to be generally true. I think it's more likely that in most cases, those houses will be sold to pay for assisted living, end of life services and medical costs.

Totally, with people living longer and medical costs rising.... not to mention big extreme weather events causing chaos, it's ah, not looking to cheery for housing.
