The produce at normal (fka middle class) grocery stores goes bad much faster now Bought a box of organic strawberries yesterday, and a few were already covered with mold this morning Rarely happens with produce from upper class stores (eg. Whole Foods). Yet another way the growing class disparity is felt (but hidden)

does the freshness of the fruits correlate with quality though? what if the middle class grocery stores actually have fruits that contain much less preservatives agents, thus mold faster

I usually buy organic produce, so I assume freshness is correlated with nutrition Terrifying if that’s not the case. Any reason to suspect that it might be due to preservatives?
