Even with the most bullish view on what the new administration can do, it's hard to see revshare tokens not being treated as securities... which will make the whole concept a lot less powerful.

Revenue-sharing has always been the prime use case for tokens, and remains one of the clearest examples of innovation stifled by regulation.

As much as I'd like them to become the norm, widespread adoption is challenging without clear rules.

But instead of pushing projects to navigate legal gray areas, our industry should do whatever it can to expand the scope of permissionless innovation.

This is undoubtedly one of the key primitives that will make Ethereum thrive, and there is no better time to get regulatory clarity.

We're going to see a lot more innovation around this but still need regulatory clarity

Simple on the surface, complex in practice. Vesting terms need to be set in the smart contract otherwise mass dumpling will occur.

this aligns success of the founding team much better with positive outcomes for users of the product. community support grows as value is accrued and creates gravity that accelerates/scales growth. flywheel of aligned incentives. 

would love to see crypto solve for series a and series b size capital needs.

Building something about that…

It was nice earning the revs for a bit for me. Until I realized that Market Makers are hesitant to generate activity since they lose every time the token doesn’t go up. So unfortunately it has its downsides.

That said, I like this direction. Gives me incentive to keep pushing.
