Today, I want to write about war—a subject I never liked to speak of. Because deep in my heart, I believe the world should be immersed in lasting peace, and all people, with kindness, friendship, and love, should live side by side in harmony. But sadly, history has never fulfilled such a dream. There have always been nations that, for the sake of the interests of a privileged few, have dragged countless innocent souls into the darkness of war and death. Today, countries like Russia, under false pretexts, have invaded Ukraine,a nation of peace-loving and kind-hearted people,inflicting unimaginable damage on its infrastructure, while refusing to come to the negotiation table. In Gaza, people are battling hunger, famine, and death. And in my own homeland, Iran, we find ourselves on the brink of war,with a future so uncertain, and a faint hope for political resolution or fair agreement.

To me, war is the tool of incompetent and greedy rulers, those who see nothing beyond their own benefit, and who gamble with the lives of millions. What weighs heaviest on my heart are the sorrowful faces of children, mothers with tear-filled eyes saying goodbye to their loved ones, and fathers who no longer have the strength to protect their families. War is not just a battle between armies—it tears apart the very fabric of life, burns dreams to ashes, and buries hope beneath the dust of fear and pain. Is the cry of a child beneath the rubble not loud enough to awaken the world’s conscience? Does the desperate gaze of a starving, defenseless soul not tremble the hearts of stone? I still believe in the human heart’s capacity for love. I believe there are still people who, with every ounce of their being, long for peace, and strive to build a better world. I raise my hands to the sky, to a God whose essence is justice, to a light that never fades.
