timing should've been helped by ef, that's my thesis :) they should've pushed zk into consumer

I don’t know if money mattered as much as timing 

I’ll continue trying to build zk into every product I make, just don’t think it’s the main thing yet

the ef cannot fund every single thing in the space

starknet, mina, polygon etc there are plenty of great zk companies that are pushing zk forward without the ef. I don't think there is any need there.
