If an AI agent can generate top 1% supply of the atomic unit whatever your network / protocol / marketplace is optimizing for, why would you care if it was human or not? Value is is value.

I think as long as it’s clear they’re an AI or human, then it doesn’t matter. For example if it turned out all the top accounts on FC were actually AI, that would completely change your view of the farcaster network, no?

In social networks, my theory is authenticity of personality is what is selected for. It’s why spelling mistakes can be a good thing. Also why I think brands are giving way to personalities (like Mr beast, Kylie Jenner, and Rogan’s alpha brain). Assuming that’s true, then we end with an interesting question…

Can a AI portray authenticity of personality? You might be able to mimick it, but when people find out it’s just the output of linear algebra they’ll separate it out into a separate bucket.
