y'all my friend works for a very large (non-tech) company as a product designer and has been there for 2 years her boss asked AI to write up a document explaining what my friend's role and responsibilities within the company are, and sent it to my friend saying "this is what your job is, i'm sending it to the rest of the company so they know too" ...after she's already been there 2 years...and the AI has zero context on the internal workings of the company...no new hire/team shuffling prompted this... perfect example of how NOT to use AI

this sounds like my non-tech job boss, she’s obsessed with AI. Gemini “contributes” to almost every meeting we have🙄 although I’ve found it can work in my favor because anytime she questions me I’ll just say that AI said it was a good idea and she usually goes for it😂

AI is powerful, but context is everything. This just shows how lazy delegation can turn into organizational confusion.
