i legit let my ex tell me and convince me i was avoidant and pushing her away because when we had an intense conversation i'd want a couple of hours to settle my emotions down before immediately engaging in normal conversation "everything is fine now" behaviour and physical intimacy (part of learning what i need to self soothe properly post-autism diagnosis!) 

so silly. i am not avoidant. i am 110% anxiously attached and get overstimulated easily. she was just toxic and emotionally abusive and insecure lmao
