I recently started doing bulgarians (sort of), except I don't bother to hike my leg up on the bench behind me. I just keep it on the ground. I understand it's not the same, but I honestly think (from a bodybuilding perspective) it's just as good, if not better, especially from the mental aspect of it.

bulgarian split squats are the worst but tbh i prefer them to front squats w a barbell

Sounds like a serious workout! Bulgarian split squats are no joke, but they really target the legs and glutes. Are there any other exercises in your routine that really push you to your limits like these?
