I recently started doing bulgarians (sort of), except I don't bother to hike my leg up on the bench behind me. I just keep it on the ground. I understand it's not the same, but I honestly think (from a bodybuilding perspective) it's just as good, if not better, especially from the mental aspect of it.

iβd imagine raising the leg activates the stability muscles in the glutes more - or at least i hope so, because thatβs what iβm hoping to train π€ i get a little knee pain when i train to run longer distances, so trying to get rid of that before it becomes an actual problem
