Every year I’ve lived in Los Angeles, I’ve heard fireworks the entire week leading up to July 4, and several days after. This year was eerily silent until last night. My guess is it’s because the people who light most of the fireworks are immigrant families. 🙁

Wow, it’s so cool how the city’s vibe changes when different cultures mix things up, even the fireworks timing feels fresh and exciting
