Coming from places where greenery = life, I used to think dry looking soil like this meant nothing could grow. But this Tunisian dirt is SO fertile. My partner’s mom grows figs, oranges, tomatoes, and more - all from what looks like arid ground to me. First time I’ve seen fruit trees like this just casually thriving in a backyard.
