Starting at ~RM800 ($189) per night, the Cameron Highlands Resort is one of the few Small Luxury Hotels in Malaysia set in the cool, misty highlands just 3 hours away from KL. Favorite parts of my stay were the activities and such great customer service. Every night, they choose a guest to light the fireplace with š„¹. In the mornings, groups of people gather for their guided hikes or meet to go on a lovely picnic. The resort is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, serene weekend. They have lots of parking, and is located near many restaurants, farms, and tea plantations to explore.

Maybe go for a walkabout and go search for missing American businessman Jim Thompson who vanished in Cameron Highlands in 1967 š
