To begin, you came to us talk acquisition first and we were (and still are) excited about what Clanker and Rainbow can do together. We had come to terms in our previous discussions. The same terms we posted today. You left it with us as a done deal with some housekeeping on your end. Then you cold shouldered us. What happened? Sharing the letter was hardly a threat. The Clanker community is as much a part of this as you are. Today’s price action shows that they think this is a good deal. The market has spoken clearly: $CLANKER trading today shows strong support for Rainbow’s proposed transaction. We care about the Clanker community and remain ready to close. If you believe there is a better path for $CLANKER holders, we invite you to put forward an alternative proposal. What’s the plan?

I would argue that it’s the first time in months that there’s been any actual value prop behind the token. In clankers early days they always talked about putting the treasury to work as a flywheel, sharing fees with users, etc. but we haven’t heard anything else about that in ages.

did you buy the top again, Anakin? 😅 I'm just joking bro. I didn't buy any and have like 400 points between 3 wallets or so, so prob no airdrop for me. Let's wait and see. Both sides have contradictory stories, so one may guess there's at least one side acting in bad faith, or at least lying.

lol nah I dumped it upon reading dish post. I don’t think there’s any lying or nefariousness here. I think the Clanker team is considering themselves rather than their holders, which is their decision to do. While it seems like rainbow was trying to act in the best interest of Clanker holders and I think it’s fair to let them know that the offer was made. Why would the Clanker team want to keep the offer a secret from their holders?
