another year trying to celebrate my birthday, only to realize it's too soon and i don't have the energy to make things happen now.

also — is it just me, or does planning your own birthday feel like the most narcissistic thing ever?
not sure i'll ever manage to pull off something for any of mine, lol.

I got very anxious every time I try to plan something so I always end hanging out with a small group of friends and I never regret it :)
