Reading that thread I realize a factor in the fall of the US to fascism was that someone at the Fed called up the most low-trust people in America and asked them how much crypto they held. 

Then when the Biden admin asked "would we lose votes if we pissed off crypto holders" they answered no, there are only 4 of them

Yup I had a very similar theory when anti-crypto became part of the DNC campaign.

It's impressive how much a representative can simply not believe who is in their constituency. Says something about our state of democracy.
