consumer crypto stakeholders seem to be relatively bullish on memecoins playing a key role in onboarding the next million or billion

this cycle's memecoins have been around for months now. what's the data show?

would be interested to see the numbers as well, all I’ve seen is the chatter on twitter but not sure how much of that is matriculating

also imagine how hard it would be to onboard a non crypto native friend and tell them that you have to keep up with telegram and dexscreener to get involved lmao

i second your sentiment - seems like ‘already crypto’ are more into it than people who are new

anecdotally, not a single one of my non-crypto-native friends has onboarded as a result of any d-list celebrity or ugly green frog memecoins

i wouldn't be surprised if increase in activity or tokens =/= increase in # of new users
