Not saying it's a good metric, but the tomatometer is still widely misunderstood 39% is not equivalent to 3.9/10 It could mean that 39% of critics loved it and the rest thought it was meh to bad There are plenty of movies where I acknowledge I'm in the minority that loves it and that's perfectly okay
