Today we're starting the roll out of the new Farcaster brand. We worked with Primary Studio to refresh the brand in late September. We have a new logo, wordmark, typography, colors and brand elements. Later today, you'll see the new logo on the mobile app and everywhere else over the coming weeks.

very nice! what was the trigger for deciding a brand refresh was critical for growth? I really respect your iteration towards finding what works so I'm curious when it became clear branding was a high lmpact item to work on.

1. We had never done a formal brand exercise. 2. The Frankenstein approach of piecemeal wasn't scaling. Made it harder to design new things. 3. We're rotating a bit more to top of funnel soon and having a cohesive visual identity made sense. 4. We worked with a firm that does a 2-week sprint vs. typical multi month process.

@adam-
Appreciate the insightful breakdown. Two questions I’m curious about: 1) what resonated with you when settling on the final design 2) Will a commemorative NFT be launched to raise money for the protocol, or is that no longer necessary after the funds recently raised?
