Kindle Scribe (h/t @0xstark.eth) has been really good! Perfect for notetaking + PDFs and decent for day reading as a kindle, although bulky for bedside reading.

I had a Boox (Chinese remarkable cousin) for a while but the writing recognition wasn’t up to par. Currently happy with a Kobo ereader and a vintage Microsoft folding Bluetooth keyboard for distraction free longform writing

I got one for my partner. She's in academia so is always reading and annotating articles and papers. Gamechanger vs iPad

My handwriting is unreadable to even myself so I’ve never been able to justify it. I know a couple restaurant owners that swear by them though.

I use my remarkable daily to read papers, textbooks and blog posts. Highlights and annotations sync so I can then expand on those on another app.

Please don’t make me start thinking about this again. Backlit Remarkable 3 or bust (without taking away ssh access)

I didn't know there was such a thing, to be honest. I use Kindle Oasis with jailbreak (custom reader and cli included), but you definitely can't write or draw (not very comfortably, at least, although the technical capability should exist since it has a touchscreen)
