There has been a massive inflow of people from Nigeria into farcaster. Many are from twitter so there’s usually this idea of “gaming the system” that runs on X and of course the money that comes from farcaster is a good amount weekly in the country too. Recently, we that have been here have raised more awareness into understanding farcaster (like my pinned cast in profile) and @tophb’s weekly X spaces. I’ve shifted my focus more to get to know more Africans on here so they can get clarity about what Farcaster is really about. Because they’ve only seen different posts like “what people earn on Farcaster screenshots” on X and farming it is supposedly the game. Things will resolve and get better as long as we’re here giving more education about farcaster rather than just the earning part. Things like this happened during the degen period and regardless of the farming that came with it, some people remained and did better. Thank you for the support Naomi 💜🇳🇬

glad to see more people from non-western countries joining but this is totally the issue with "farcaster is an economy" narrative. poor expectations and not at the fault of new people joining god speed with the work you're doing
