I think it got co-opted by the groypers/young Christian/hardcore Catholics to mean something twisted compared to the original purpose, and that’s how many people were introduced to it Similar to how Pepe was a lil fren, then he became an international hate symbol Sadly it’s not up to us what other people see when we use words. And when they get co-opted that can be how they are perceived by the greater public
