A public good is something that is: Non-excludable - You can’t stop people from using it, because of their race, social status or economic status, so it's Free for all that need it. Non-rivalrous - One person’s use doesn’t reduce its availability to others, so it's readily available at anytime, 24 hours, 7 days a week. So in real life, a primary public good is Air. Now when you bring it into context as to "what is a Public Good in the web3 space"?; - Open-source protocols - Educational resources - Uncensorable communication tools - Decentralized infrastructure - And even web3 communities, processes and systems That benefits the collective web3 ecosystem are considered Public Goods. Public goods usually get Retro Funding because @ethereum recognizes that the crypto market or Venture Capitalists won’t always support what's valuable for the collective web3 ecosystem. @octant did an explainer video on this👇🏽 https://x.com/OctantApp/status/1932132579513434421?t=MY_jY1HrCT5DrD25_hbaoQ&s=19
