This week I built... I contributed to the Base ecosystem by serving as a bridge for newly onboarded users, guiding them as they explored this dynamic onchain space. As more individuals embrace blockchain technology, it’s essential to provide them with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate this new world effectively. Alongside other dedicated Base advocates, I had the privilege of introducing users to the Base ecosystem, unveiling its features, opportunities, and potential. How did we do this: Held a google meet call to take them through the essentials of what is needed to be a base builder check out the slide : https://www.canva.com/design/DAGW0xoRS9M/DLOS2b7u1TOjj5SUM9dCvg/edit?utm_content=DAGW0xoRS9M&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton Hosted an x space to unveil what the base ecosystem is all about link to recording: https://x.com/IMTBlockChain/status/1859310867780936099 This is a reminder for all of us to keep building on base. Stay based
This week I built on @base.base.eth by implementing the new Token function provided by @onchainkit and added it to the base bond library functions to help devs using our library call it with ease, also participated with my team in the @turnkey bounty from bountycaster.xyz and we learnt alot during the process from initializing the apiClient to creating a wallet to signing transactions and most of all i got started with control strutures in solidity from @base.base.eth learn website and currently in the stage of taking the exercise. https://docs.turnkey.com/getting-started/quickstart https://onchainkit.xyz/token/token-chip https://github.com/Base-Bond/OFL-ts- https://docs.base.org/base-learn/docs/control-structures/
This week I built... All-in-one onchainkit components library. During the course of the buildathon I found out that alot of developers that were trying to participate couldn't wrap their head around how to integrate onchainkit to their app so they ended up using the built in web metamask function. Devs at Base-Bond has decided to take care of that process for you: All you need to do is clone the repo, replace the existing api key yours, then tweak the components to suit your dapp : https://github.com/Base-Bond/OFL-ts- Also found out that onchainkit releases a new component <Checkout />, I explored it today so expect it : https://warpcast.com/jackofweb3/0x328020b3 Let's all keep building on base and stay based. Shout out to all the base maxis in the house: @nemild @zizzamia @jesse.base.eth @sir-damilare @statuette @saxenasaheb @kokocodes @uchennam Thank you for all you do.
