Realistically, a super intelligent AI wont need to kill us all. We’re already doing a good enough job of that ourselves. It could just wait and gently nudge people in the direction of self extinction. Like we’re already doing to ourselves. 🤷🏻‍♂️

we’ll happily live in an augmented VR reality that’s so great we won’t want to come back to reality

and if we ever did, enough time will have passed that we won’t be able to live in the real world - like a lion released from his cage as an adult
