In addition, they emailed a very old gmail account that I haven't used in years.

Nope, I don’t do a lot of hiring and don’t normally reach out.

I’ve never shared by personal Gmail in any kind of professional setting and I get bombarded with recruiting emails there CONSTANTLY.

One has to wonder how many other similarly-named Gmail accounts are out there getting spammed with stuff that’s supposed to be directed at me.
