Why is Jon Stewart glorifying tedious work? Most people aren't lucky enough to love their jobs. There is little dignity in many jobs, including many white-collar jobs. Why is Jon Stewart lamenting the loss of these awful jobs?

Because he doesn’t get how economics works (“fixed pie fallacy” should be tattooed on his forehead as a misinfo warning) And because he is apparently ignorant of history—lamplighters were victims of electrification and coachmen were unfairly pushed out of good jobs by evil Henry Ford if he is deemed correct
