chat i missed out on the farcaster OG NFT by literally 270 fids i am still here a year+ later, still having a great time. building my company in the open social ecosystem. posting /firefits, pics of my cat and gym selfies, and stream of consciousness thoughts. having fun hyping up my friends on the TL, having good discussions about the future of tech and society, liking pretty pictures and funny memes an NFT will not make or break your time here - how you interact and engage with others will :)

Listen, I'm not gonna lie, joining NFT communities was a huge breakthrough to my presence in Web3. I don't think I get anywhere at all without them. Still a long way to go, but I owe them a lot for my progress over the past few years here. That said, I always try to put my best foot forward and engage with others exactly how I would if we met in person. I have found this to open more doors for me than anything else.

was it joining NFT communities or just the fact you joined *communities* themselves? the NFT was just a focal point of that community, but that's not the case here on farcaster! farcaster is the community. channels are communities. clusters of people engaging with each other are communities. communities held together by true common interests will always be stronger than communities held together by a memorial jpeg
