Maybe I’m crazy, but I consider myself a capitalist and just don’t really understand this logic. Feels like being a reasonable logical person with nuanced opinions has completely faded. It should be easier to get wealthy, and harder to stay wealthy. I think a lot of people don't realize that once you hit $10m you hit a free money glitch and it's basically impossible for a reasonable person to spend money fast enough to have their net worth go down. Money beyond $100m is pretty much just a game, and would be put to better use funding quality of life improvements for people in need. If someone builds and sells a lot of cool shit, I'm fine with them being a billionaire. That's not actually what's happening though most of the time.
