Russia and Ukraine are both mass-producing these. Main countermeasure today is RF jamming. (FPV drones use analog video & controls. Very 20th century.) Solution: these will fly themselves very soon. Swarm war! https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2024/04/14/ukraine-drones-russia-war-skies/

I suspect even with the swarms, broadband jamming will still be the most effective way to mitigate the drones.

I can't even imagine how frightening a swarm of drones would be. Images of a fleet of WWII bombers was intense, I'm just picturing a black sky full of those things converging on a town. Wild.

I knew there was something in the sci-fi drone tech showcased in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Autonomous AI-powered sentinels with lightweight graphene batteries which can last them for days

I've got one pitch deck from central Europe who has already been working on this for a year to countermeasure RF jamming and pierce jamming domes. Maybe time to invest in war-tech, huh?
