A phrase that came into my head recently is "ETH is capital". More than money, it's actually cryptographic machinery that generates value for society. It occurred to me that Capitalism, and later Communism, were both tools created to democratize capital in their respective eras, and Ethereum is the modern incarnation. All modern capital can be tokenized on Ethereum, and Ethereum itself is a unstoppable form of capital that is accessable to the masses.

Sure, and even modern cryptocurrencies, like Solana, that can be capital, but compared to Bitcoin and other early coins, I think the difference is pretty significant. I also think having capital on-chain gives it a competitive edge that disconnected capital will never be able to compete with.
