Thought experiment: How would you feel if the users here who primarily have large followings on X were not really them, but synthetic AI clones of them? ā At first I felt a bit taken aback, feeling foolish and tbh a bit embarassed to be a human interacting with AI clones who pass the Turing test. But then I thought this is already happening in the present to a small degree and likely inevitable at scale in the future
