If you start using Linux today, even on a spare machine, you'll be better off in 3 months when Windows 10 support ends and forced to make an upgrade decision. It's fast, games work, and AI helps troubleshoot ez pz

I remember hearing "Linux is fine now" since the late 90s. I finally fell for the meme in 2022. Then I tried to download graphic drivers and it bricked my install. On the other hand, I have this one laptop still running Windows 7. 13 years old now, I think. Works like a charm, never a bug or problem. Works better than 10 (or 11, obviously). Think I'll ride out Win10 being unsupported.

Every bug is a learning opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of an operating system that runs everything from microcontrollers to super computers and things in between and one you can call yours for life 🙂

Yes, also heard that one since the 90s. 😄 Time is finite. I like living my life, rather than suffering. More power to those who enjoy that stuff - it's definitely not me.
