I remember hearing "Linux is fine now" since the late 90s. I finally fell for the meme in 2022. Then I tried to download graphic drivers and it bricked my install.

On the other hand, I have this one laptop still running Windows 7. 13 years old now, I think. Works like a charm, never a bug or problem. Works better than 10 (or 11, obviously).

Think I'll ride out Win10 being unsupported.

I like to think I'd use Debian and incrementally make it my own but I also like the bareboneness of Arch.

Meanwhile I'm soaked deep in the Apple ecosystem for "things just work" which compounds with all their hardware offerings!

Cannot wait for the mass influx of new Linux users
