My only thought to support the charge is that @jacob is using this art and the current meta to help gain traction and attention from X and even on warpcast to show what can be done? Should he have accepted or requested less… prolly but in the end it doesn’t really make me feel any way. Also I am in the camp of let’s do and try anything we can to get the idea/brand of higher in front of more eyes. But I also have a (muh bags) bias 😂

to my first point like… he has a platform and has worked hard to get it there so why shouldn’t he be able to charge more then say someone who just creates something… even if it is the same ai quality image. My thinking here is I have seen many people just sucking higher out of aether and then immediately dumping it. Maybe @jacob sees more? Idk just spitballing here

I support the idea, the Zora mint, the interaction I even support him getting paid. But not that amount for that quality of art. Because it does 2 things: 1. Set bar way too high for trash art, is Aether going to pay everyone else that much for similar art now? 2. Show that the collab is about dependent on who you are rather than your work.
