I need to see how much UX friction there is moving value L2<>L3 and L3<>L3. If it's low in practice and apps do a good job hiding the tech, it will scale well and adoption will move the token. The fact of the L3 isn't good cause for hype. Competent implementation at scale could bring tremendous value to degen.

too much utility for a memecoin, never ends well (see the classic NFT project playbook). imo we would be better off investing in incentivizing the creation of better memes + better distribution for those memes.

I think it doesn't make sense anymore to have L3, we've got lower fees on base already Would add unnecessary complexity / bridges / transfers for very little gains on my opinion

I've used all sorts of scaling solutions: state channels, LN, L2s, side chains, etc, but never used an L3 so I'm intrigued 1st movers do very well & Degen could be a trendsetter if it works, esp if Degen is fee token I hope moving my $Degen to L3 is optional in case the experiment fails @jacek = 🐐 so let him cook

The more uses we have for degen, the better. I’m sure that just like anything else - some people will find it more appealing than others will. The important thing though is the continuation of the enthusiasm there has been for building around the token that’s existed here since day one.

I honestly have't seen a great reason why this is needed atm..but i can see a future that $degen is used to incentive or reward community members, more so then it is today. If millions of $degen ends up being tipped to thousands of people everyday, i could see the benefit of launching an L3! Such a powerful tool.
