I believe that FC is a decentralized illusion! Despite all my support and efforts to spread it. ⛔ All the mini-apps I’ve built — thoughtfully, passionately, with real utility — have quietly disappeared from the Farcaster MiniApp Store. No explanation. No transparency. Just gone. Because I am Persian. I receive zero in rewards — not even a single cent — despite months of contributions. My posts go unseen, unsupported, even when they're creative, constructive, or community-focused. Because I am Persian. I’ve been banned from any programs — quietly pushed out without any valid justification. I’ve been excluded from programming competitions and initiatives meant to foster innovation. Because I am Persian. And yet, I kept building. Not because I expected favors. Not because I wanted to chase clout. But because I am Persian — and being Persian means I create despite the odds.

This is disheartening to read. You’ve built so many amazing things that are helpful to so many.

I never expected this from FC and the team. Instead of showing appreciation, they’ve united with full force to ensure that the things we build for the people are never seen. I truly don’t understand what they’re so afraid of!

I just read the whole thread and I agree with pichi, very disheartening. Also saw you post this in the mini apps chat. To be clear you don’t even want to have rewards, you just want to build, but you’re de-platformed because of location? Would love to dc you about this. Your apps have been useful, but you’re right - I can’t find them in the mini App Store now

We can’t afford to lose good builders like this. It’s a huge blow to the ecosystem to lose someone who’s contributed so much.

I am in full agreement. We want more developers and users, not losing anyone, obviously. I can understand how merkle cannot pay to us sanctioned countries - but if the dev/user is ok with that - then let open source flourish

We build here out of passion and love for the community! As I mentioned in the original text, money is not important in the first step (although rewards are necessary to create motivation because we pay for the development of all this with our own money and all this has a cost)! But preventing the efforts from being seen is not the right behavior at all.

Agreed. Thank you for the work you’ve done so far. Curiously - how are you handling hosting? This is intriguing for me (which is why I asked if you would DC me - I can’t), and I’m also following your chat in the miniapps group. I just thought about this - you (and anyone in a sanctioned country) can start an eth wallet. You can register an ens domain. You can clearly register an account here. But where the line seems to be drawn is rewards (I presume this is the same with X, because stripe won’t payout). Like I said - very intriguing for me. I know in the OSS world, we’ve had Persian contributors for Farsi translations, but I also recall that eventually many have moved (the one I know of best from decades ago is afaik in Canada)
