Fuck Spanish is good But you can only really get it in Spain. No such thing as Spanish in America because the tapas culture just doesnโt exist here no matter how much yuppies try to make it happen. I just forgot about it American is great and doesnโt get the credit it deserves: Steak, American breakfast, drip coffee, lobster, American cocktails (if that counts here)โฆ

Hahha just come to Spain! The problem with American cuisine is that it mixes many cultures but doesn't have a very distinct root, also its not the healthiest ๐

Not all unhealthy In fact one could say that the health movement is American cuisine. Smoothies, protein shakes, vitamins, fasting, salads without dressings, veggie sticks ect ect. Or any food that a Venice beach snob would eat ๐ @dwr.eth weight in here Distinct roots: disagree. American BBQ distinctly derived from American sports and suburban culture Tex Mex: from the southern border Health revolution: from LA Hollywood โlooksโ culture Fast food: from American work culture I think the challenge with American cuisine is that it has many shapes and no one unique โsushiโ or โburritoโ stereotype moment that actually represents the cuisine (hot dogs)

For real. This is what I wanted to say. They have a mixed-gastronomy with many influences. But if we look for typical dishes, it is difficult to define In other countries like Spain, Italy, Japan or Mexico, it is easy to name two or three typical dishes
