Visiting London for the first time. I acc really like it! Some insights: - great mix of history and modern culture. Interesting mix of very old architecture and new modern - serving sizes are ACTUALLY for one person, which is comparitvely much smaller compared to nyc. A large here would be a small in america. - everything is just as expensive as New York, could actually pass off as more expensive - Borough Market has a really nice standout, by far my favorite - pub culture > club - coffee is sooo good here, honeycomb latte FTW - impressed with how clean the underground and streets are comparatively to nyc - city so big that you can get both suburban when you want and city when you want - suprisingly heard more foreign accents than UK accents - beautiful country side - didnt catch much tech culture here

Went for the first time a few months ago and agree with pretty much all of this. The food depends, I guess. I was constantly ful and ate sooo well. Collectively, it was probably the best I’ve ever eaten on a trip. Definitely more expensive than the US right now given how strong the pound is v. the dollar, but I literally left saying “I think I want to live here.” May honestly be the best place I’ve ever been to and may make this a yearly trip.
