How has it taken me this many decades to realise how good steamed salmon is? (Taste a lot better than it looks)

steaming almost everything these days... so good.

Here you go!

It is called 가지나물 or gaji namul
most recipes mention asian eggplants, but i did use regular ones in the past. 

You will need:
	•	2 medium (asian) eggplants
	•	1 tsp soy sauce
	•	1 tsp sesame oil
	•	1/2 tsp minced garlic
	•	1/2 tsp sesame seeds
	•	Pinch of salt
	•	optional: green onion, gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) 

1.	Steam the eggplants until soft. 
2. After cooling down, you tear them by hand into strips (lengthwise)
3.	In a bowl, gently mix the eggplant with:
	•	soy sauce
	•	sesame oil
	•	garlic
	•	sesame seeds
	•	(optional green onion or chili flakes)
4.	Serve at room temperature as a banchan (Korean side dish).
5. I usually make double the recipe, so I have some left the next day.

have not tried to steam courgette yet. but did steam pumpkin before. also found a korean recipe for steamed eggplant. sooooo good.
